Recognizing the contributions made by women in business and economic growth, world leaders must come together to formulate policies, that must address women’s issues in various strata’s of society across regions which will triple the trade for inclusive growth. Principles, the 6th Edition of the Global Economic Summit focuses on Women’s Empowerment in the social and economic spheres.
The Summit under the theme ‘Women's Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Capacity Building’ will discuss the achievements of women in diverse fields. The deliberations will include relevant issues pertaining to women empowerment such as leadership, economic and social entrepreneurship, SMEs, Skill Development, Financing and the role of governments, multilateral agencies and stakeholders at national and international levels, to achieve the goal for women’s economic independence.
The Summit will provide an insight into how diverse businesses around the world are implementing Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and striving to achieve the new
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), set forth in the 2030 Agenda.
The GES 2017 is going to witness a congregation of some of the best minds from India and abroad. The rostrum will see representatives from the government, multilateral agencies and other stakeholders.
